Emla 5% Cream 30g

Emla 5% Cream 30g is a rapid onset topical anesthetic which gives the skin temporary numbness. This cream is specially designed with lidocaine and prilocaine, which makes it excellent to use prior to any minor skin work, like inserting a needle, a tattoo, laser treatment or skin surgery.

Emla Cream functions by preventing nerve impulses in the area of application to aid in decreasing pain/sensations during operations. It is usually effective in 20-30 minutes and lasts up to 2 hours.

Usage Instructions:

• Put on a thick layer to dry skin.

• Cover with an occlusive dressing (plastic wrap) to activate.

• Wait 20-60 minutes based on the procedure.

• Take off dressing and wipe with excess prior to procedure.

Precautions:

• Not to be used on fissured or inflamed skin unless recommended by a physician.

• Should not be used around the mouth, eyes or genitals without instructions.

• Store away or keep locked away.

Storage:

Keep at room temperature. Store in a dry and cool place keeping the tube tightly closed.
