Vitagon™ 5000 IU is a sterile hormonal injection containing Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (hCG) 5000 IU per vial. It is supplied as a freeze-dried powder together with a 1 ml sodium chloride 0.9% diluent for reconstitution. The product is manufactured by Alpha-Pharma Healthcare.

Uses

Vitagon contains hCG, a hormone that acts similarly to luteinizing hormone (LH). In women, hCG can be used under medical supervision to induce ovulation and support the final stage of follicular maturation. In men, hCG stimulates Leydig cells in the testes to promote androgen production. Alpha-Pharma also lists uses associated with conditions such as hypogonadism, oligospermia and cryptorchidism.
