Yaz 28 Tablets – Combined Oral Contraceptive

Yaz is a combined oral contraceptive containing two female hormones: drospirenone 3 mg and ethinylestradiol 0.020 mg. It is designed to prevent pregnancy when taken according to the prescribed regimen. Yaz may also be prescribed for the treatment of moderate acne vulgaris and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) in appropriate patients.

Each calendar pack contains 28 tablets: 24 active hormonal tablets containing drospirenone and ethinylestradiol, followed by 4 inactive placebo tablets containing lactose.
